Dan Foster is the CEO of the Centre for Men and Families Australia (CFMF), a national harm-prevention charity helping men reconnect with themselves, their families, and their communities through emotional honesty, brotherhood, and transformational experiences. Drawing on years of lived experience in men’s work, leadership, and community building, Dan speaks passionately about the deeper challenges facing modern men — loneliness, emotional disconnection, fatherlessness, addiction, shame, and the quiet crisis many men carry behind outward success. His work focuses on creating spaces where men can be deeply seen, heard, and known without judgment.
Under Dan’s leadership, CFMF has expanded its reach across Australia through men’s circles, counselling, rites of passage programs, retreats, and community initiatives designed to foster emotional maturity, healing, and healthy masculinity. He is particularly passionate about helping men move beyond performance and isolation into lives marked by authenticity, courage, responsibility, and connection.
Known for his honest storytelling, grounded wisdom, and emotionally resonant communication style, Dan brings together contemporary insight, ancient wisdom traditions, and practical experience in a way that is both accessible and deeply human.
Dan regularly speaks on topics including men’s mental health, rites of passage, emotional resilience, masculinity, belonging, grief, leadership, spirituality, and the importance of community in healing and transformation.
