David Facer is a respected community leader, advocate, and the founder and Managing Director of Brave Brothers Ltd, a Bundaberg-based organisation dedicated to men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and community connection. Known for his grassroots and relationship-driven approach, David has helped build Brave Brothers into a recognised regional movement focused on creating safe spaces for conversation, support, and hope. Under David’s leadership, Brave Brothers was named Community Group of the Year at the 2025 Bundaberg Regional Council Australia Day Awards, recognising the organisation’s growing impact across the Wide Bay–Burnett region. David was the recipient of the AMHF's Men's Health Champion 2025 David also serves as Chair of the headspace Bundaberg Consortia, Director of Partners in Care Together (PiCT), an initiative of the Bundaberg Health Services Foundation and sits on the Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre board, contributing to stronger community and health partnerships.
