Australians are uniting to combat prostate cancer through the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia's (PCFA) annual event, Walk for Him.
Scheduled during Men’s Health Week from June 9 to 15, 2025, this initiative encourages participants nationwide to walk in solidarity with around 26,000 men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.
1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed in their lifetime and 11 men die each day from prostate cancer.
Walk for Him is more than just a walk; it's a movement aiming to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and support services. Participants are asked, ‘how far will you go’ for the men in your life?
They can set their own distance goal for the week or opt for the suggested 25kms.
All proceeds will go to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia funding life-saving prostate cancer research, nursing, and awareness.
Participants who register with a donation of $50 by June 3 will receive a complimentary kit, including awareness materials and an event t-shirt .
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the country – and research is key to beating it.
