What’s on for Men’s Health Week 2025
Men’s Health Week begins on 9 June 2025 and there’s a lot happening around Australia to celebrate and explore men’s health.

Here’s just a sample of how people are marking Men’s Health Week 2025.
- The Australian Men’s Health Forum is running a series of daily lunch-time chats on five themes: Prostate Cancer, Stroke Awareness, Men’s Health Facts, Ask Your Pharmacist and Helping Mates. These online events are free to attend from 9-13 June starting at 1pm AEST. Register
- Also online, The Men’s Table is hosting a panel discussion from 8am-9am on 9th June looking at men’s health and the benefits of preventative healthcare. More information and registration
- Mosman Council is running a Men’s Health Expo from 9am-3.30pm, with a range of activities on the Civic Green, including a morning walk, physiotherapy, pickleball and a free BBQ. More information
- Walking Football 4 Men’s Health Victoria is a day-long event that highlights the benefit of Walking Football for all ages, to improve physical and mental wellbeing. Find out how to enter a team
- Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) is hosting its annual Leaders of Positive Change luncheon on the 12th of June 2025. The theme of this year’s event in Robina, Queensland, is Bridging Generations: Strengthening Families, Supporting Change. More information
- The Mount Barker Community Centre in Mount Barker, SA, will run a Healthy BBQ Cooking workshop with teacher Michelle Thomas, plus an ‘informal chat’ about men’s mental and physical health. Details
- Hear from the founders of TradeMutt – Daniel Allen and Ed Ross – share their story about setting up a social enterprise workwear company to normalise mental health conversations. They will be in conversation at the State Library of Queensland on 12th June at 6pm. More information and bookings
- Men are encouraged to walk for health and camaraderie either through an organised Man Walk, by setting up their own regime (or group), or joining a walking group established by the Heart Foundation, who is giving away 400 pairs of ‘I love walking’ socks to men who register.
- Quite a few events are raising awareness and money for men’s health. The Shaka Project – an international men's mental health charity - is running the 7 for 7 fund-raiser across Men's Health Week to "ignite conversations around men's mental health and suicide prevention." The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia's (PCFA) annual event,Walk for Him, encourages participants nationwide to walk in solidarity with around 26,000 men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.
- For something more ‘cultural’ Men’s Talk Au encourages men to get along to a movement, gymnastic and acrobatic performance called Womb to Tomb at the Planet Theatre Royale in WA.The 14th June performance will be followed by an audience Q&A with local men’s psychologist, Matt Bartel. The City of Boroondara is supporting Men’s Health Week with four events, including a screening of Happy Sad Man on Friday 13 June at the Hawthorn Arts Centre. Bookings
